Food Hygiene Awareness – Basic early years food hygiene – Basic food hygiene.

This Food Hygiene Awareness / Food Hygiene training course will benefit anyone working in a setting where food is prepared, cooked and served to children.

Whether you are preparing snacks, preparing milk feeds or just cooking up some biscuits with your children, Food Hygiene is an essential part of what we do. Whilst policies are no longer required under the EYFS the burden of maintaining a safe environment for the children in your care is high on Ofsted’s agenda and practitioners need to be aware of their responsibilities concerning food hygiene.

This essential Basic Early Years Food Hygiene Training Course short course will enable early years practitioners to safely prepare and handle food and be aware of:

• Food-borne illnesses, bacteria and prevention techniques
• Contamination, spoilage and prevention of food poisoning
• Effective hygiene
• Food storage, HACCP and the law

Food Hygiene Training and Food Hygiene Awareness Course

This Early Years Food Hygiene course is aimed at all practitioners, whether they prepare snacks, dinners, serve food or cook with the children. It meets all the statutory requirements without the expense of a fully accredited course.

This course can be adapted for delivery to Schools that prepare food with their children.

Course Length: 1.5 – 2 hours

We are currently delivering our calendared courses via Zoom Live. We use many different methods to make sure courses are as interactive as possible and do expect delegates to have cameras on and sound on when required. We also request that you take part in the feedback on our courses so that we can improve our services every time. We provide individual certificates for all of our courses.
