Playwork Training for Out of School Clubs

This Playwork Training & Ofsted Preparation for Out of School Clubs Course is designed for all practitioners working or leading practice in an Out of School Club provision. This will include stand-alone clubs or ones within a nursery childcare setting.

Our unique course for Out of School Clubs will support practitioners in building effective practice in their everyday activities and is a useful team training course. It will provide the knowedge and build confidence towards your Ofsted Inspection under the new Education Inspection Framework (EIF).

Covering essential aspects of the EYFS Framework and the Childcare Register, our playwork training course will examine aspects of delivering care, play and learning experiences to all children, not just those under the EYFS. The content of this course will look at all aspects that affect practitioners, including planning and managing children’s behaviour.

  • To understand the role of a Playworker
  • To identify how to link the Playwork Principles & ethos with the framework
  • Understand how to organise an ongoing play environment for Out of School Children
  • To understand the role and responsibilities of a Key Person
